I purchased Designrr probably about a year ago and it is what it says on the Box. Easy to use, plenty of templates and functionality, even on the standard version.

Obviously, as you go up the membership scale there is more functionality. But if you're looking to create professional-looking ebooks, PDF or Flip-book this is a great tool.

Here are a couple of examples of my ebooks I created relatively quickly.

Like any new software, it takes a little while to figure out the nuances. However, it is probably as simple as it gets when it comes to creating your content in double-quick time.

Pros and Cons

My Journey and The Ups and Downs

Oh, where do I start? Diving into the digital design world at 51 hasn't been a walk in the park, but Designrr?

It's been a lifesaver! You see, I'm not exactly what you'd call "tech-savvy."

So, finding software that doesn't make me want to pull my hair out was crucial.

And Designrr, with its user-friendly interface, has been just that.

 

I stumbled upon Designrr during one of my cautious internet explorations, lured in by an irresistibly low price.

"Why not?" I thought, hoping it would smooth out the wrinkles in my ebook production process. And smooth them out, it did! Plus, their customer service? Top-notch.

The Facebook group? A goldmine of support and tips. It's been a delightful ride, truly.

If you're on the fence about which version to snag, take it from me: the Pro version is where it's at.

It's like the cherry on top of your digital publishing sundae – absolutely worth it for hassle-free ebook creation.

All Rosey Right?

But hey, no rose without a thorn, right? Here's a little snag I've hit along the way: updating company brochures is a headache.

Every time there's an update, instead of a simple replacement, I'm uploading a whole new document.

And let me tell you, when those links have been shared far and wide, it's more than just a minor inconvenience.

Then there were the early days, trying to get paragraphs to dance to my tune up and down the page, only to end up with a conga line of duplicate Table of Contents.

And don't get me started on embedding pictures.

My first ebook was a picture guide, and with photos from different phones and sizes, it was like herding cats trying to get them all in order. A bit of a pickle, indeed.

I'm still finding my way around Designrr, and I'll be the first to admit that some of the hurdles I've faced were of my own making. But hey, that's all part of the adventure, isn't it?
